law clerk Openings

We are seeking a part-time law clerk to work during the summer and academic year in the area of family law. We offer a competitive hourly wage, and a positive work environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Legal research and writing
• Drafting pleadings
• Trial/hearing preparation
• Clerical work
• Client relations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Rising 2L or 3L
• Interest in areas of practice associated with description above
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong academic record
• Able to work independently
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Computer experience (basic knowledge)
• High level of professionalism
• Prior law firm experience preferred, but not necessary
• Good people skills and a positive attitude
• As part of our hiring process, we perform pre-employment reference and background checks
