About Tosha Rae

Tosha Rae has turned her lifelong enthusiasm for helping others into a legal career that’s both professionally successful and personally rewarding. She is committed to providing others with the tools they need to help protect their futures.

With a background in print media and communications, Tosha Rae has a passion for legal writing, review, and research. She taught legal writing as an adjunct professor within the College of Saint Mary’s paralegal program.

Over the last four years at Hightower Reff Law, she has advised families on estate planning, probate, and guardianship. Tosha Rae also finds great satisfaction in helping families make their connections official through adoption, surrogacy, and gestational carrier processes.

She is active in her community, working to educate individuals about her areas of practice. Tosha Rae Heavican was named to the 2017-2018 Nebraska Bar Leadership Academy and is proud to be an active member of both the Nebraska and Iowa bars. She was formerly the president of the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Section of the Nebraska Bar Association.

When she isn’t working, Tosha Rae enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, baking, and cheering on the Huskers (no matter the score).

Tosha Rae graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2011 after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Doane University.
