While Jacquelynn was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, she took a bold leap and attended the University of South Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Political Science. Jacquelynn returned to her hometown and earned her Juris Doctor from Creighton University, School of Law. During her time at Creighton, she completed a concentration in family law and was honored with the Pro Bono Distinction Award for her commitment to serving others. 

Before joining Hightower Reff Law, Jacquelynn worked at the Child Support Enforcement Office where she managed a high-volume caseload that required constant courtroom presence, quick thinking, and relentless attention to detail. With dozens of active cases and numerous court hearings a week, Jacquelynn learned to work efficiently under pressure while remaining composed and confident and maintaining the highest standards of preparation and professionalism.

Outside of the office, Jacquelynn is the proud dog mom to Pinot, a German Shepherd Mix, and on the weekends they both enjoying going on long trail walks, relaxing and watching reality television. Jacquelynn’s other array of hobbies includes, reading, gardening, shopping and spending time with family. Most recently, she’s taken up golf, which is a work in progress.
